On July 15, 2020, Murrey's Disposal Co., Inc. filed two separate complaints in dockets TG-200650 and TG-200651, asking the commission to order Waste Management of Washington, Inc., Waste Management Disposal Services of Oregon, Inc., MJ Trucking & Contracting, Inc., and Daniel Anderson Trucking and Excavation, LLC to cease and desist from engaging in the collection and transportation of solid waste without a certificate from the commission.

On January 29, 2021, the commission issued a Notice modifying the procedural schedule and setting an evidentiary hearing on August 5, 2021 in the commission's hearing room, 621 Woodland Square Loop SE, Lacey, Washington. The hearing may continue on August 6, 2021 as needed.
