Renewable Northwest has participated alongside most major load-serving entities and transmission service providers in the Western Interconnection to jointly fund and develop the WTEC study--our first interconnection-wide integrated transmission study. Through deep stakeholder engagement and broad expert input, WestTEC now has a credible, actionable study which identifies substantial need for additional capacity by 2035, including in the Pacific Northwest.
