King County is increasing the per ton rate for disposal to $194.00 effective January 1, 2027. Additionally, the haulers are required to pay a monthly fixed rate based on 2025 annual tons. Therefore, for purposes of this increase and billing, the annual fixed rate has been divided by the estimated annual tons to arrive at a fixed rate per ton of $41.51 for Republic customers. The disposal rate per ton and fixed rate per ton have been summed to arrive at the total disposal cost per ton of $235.51 in 2027. |
