Less than statutory notice request for Tariff revisions that would generate approximately $384,000 (1.3 percent) additional annual revenue to recover the increased cost of disposal fees and fixed annual charges set by the RDS Disposal, Inc. On January 1, 2026, disposal fees will increase from $141.03 per ton to $147.60 per ton. Also, for Tariff revisions for a $0.35 increase (debit increase from $1.16 to a debit of $1.51) per month for residential recycling customers and $0.50 increase (debit increase from $0.10 to a debit of $0.60) per yard for multi-family recycling customers. The Company serves approximately 49,000 customers in Whatcom County. The Company’s last general rate increase became effective on June 1, 2025. |
