On April 8, 2026, the commission filed a Proposal of Expedited Rulemaking (CR-105) with the Office of the Code Reviser, to be publish under WSR# 25-10-053. The rulemaking would revise adoption-by-reference dates and correct ministerial errors in Title 480 of the WAC to incorporate the most recent version of adopted federal rules and other adopted publications and provide corrected phone numbers and reference links. Rules affected include: WAC 480-14-999, WAC 480-15-999, WAC 480-30-999, WAC 480-31-999, WAC 480-62-999, WAC 480-70-999, WAC 480-73-160, WAC 480-73-999, WAC 480-90-252, WAC 480-90-999, WAC 480-100-252, WAC 480-100-999, WAC 480-108-999, WAC 48-109-999, WAC 480-110-999, and WAC 480-120-999.
Also on April 8, 2026, the commission issued a Notice or Opportunity to File Written Objections by 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Objections must be submitted via the commission’s website efiling portal.
On June 25, 2026, the commission filed a Permanent Rulemaking Order (CR-103P) with the Office of the Code Reviser and issued a Notice of Adopted Rules which amended the adoption by reference rules in Title 480 of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC). The rules become effective July 26, 2026.
