The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission is committed to fairness and equity in the spending of public funds. We want our contracting dollars to support a wide range of small, minority-, women-, or veteran-owned businesses in Washington state.

Supplier diversity is an important part of our work. We aim to remove barriers that prevent small and diverse businesses from participating in Washington state contracting opportunities. We also work to make sure more businesses can access these opportunities.

State Vendor Toolkit

Is your business ready to start working with Washington state agencies? There is a State Vendor Toolkit with resources to help small and minority-owned businesses learn about free certificate programs and how to get started. This toolkit makes contracting with our state more accessible and easier to understand.
