The UTC does not collect funds or issue refunds on behalf of utility companies. If you think that you have been targeted by this scam, please contact your utility company immediately.

Community Notices

Railroad companies are required to notify the commission and the governing authority of a community at least 10 days before taking any planned action that may have a significant impact on the community. Such actions can include;

  • disrupting the use of a crossing for track inspection,
  • reconstruction,
  • maintenance,
  • or blocking a crossing.

Community Notices Received

The commission received the following community impact notice(s):  

  • Columbia Way, Quincy. USDOT 065796E. BNSF Railway Co. will close the crossing from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024, to repair the crossing surface. 
  • Road K Northwest, Quincy. USDOT 065791V. BNSF Railway Co. will close the crossing from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, to repair the crossing surface. 
  • Hill Street, Vancouver. USDOT 077862D. BNSF Railway Co. will close the crossing from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, for repairs.
