About Telecommunication Company Tariffs
Regulated telecommunications companies must file tariffs (documents that outline rates, terms, and conditions to provide service) with the UTC, which describes their monopoly services. A company must request approval for any changes. Many companies also maintain digital versions of tariffs on their own websites.
Competitive telecommunications companies usually describe their service catalog. This catalog is often found on the company's website.
For paper copies of tariffs from the UTC, please visit the online records center or submit a public records request. Tariffs can include complex terms and subject matter at times. If you want any tariff details explained, send an email to consumer@utc.wa.gov.
