Comment Guidelines
To maintain a positive and safe online environment, we reserve the right to hide or remove comments that include:

Personal attacks, harassment, or insulting remarks directed at an individual or a group.

Violent, offensive, profane, or threatening language, including hate speech.

Comments promoting or opposing any person campaigning for elected office.

Solicitations, advertisements, or endorsements of commercial products or services.

Spam or repetitive posts, including copied and pasted content.

Personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or identification numbers.

Promotion of discrimination, illegal activities, or religious beliefs.

Off-topic remarks or unrelated content, including comments outside of the UTC’s regulatory authority.
Content that violates these guidelines may be hidden or removed. Repeated violations may result in users being blocked from further participation.
Public Records Notice
Please be aware that all comments and messages posted on UTC social media accounts are public records under Washington State law (RCW 42.56). They may be subject to public disclosure, archiving, and retention requirements under RCW 40.14.
