Community Notices

Railroad companies are required to notify the commission and the governing authority of a community at least 10 days before taking any planned action that may have a significant impact on the community. Such actions can include:

  • disrupting the use of a crossing for track inspection,
  • reconstruction,
  • maintenance,
  • or blocking a crossing.

  • Spruce/Main Street, Burlington. USDOT 084733B. Closed Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to replace track and crossing surface materials. Roadmaster Paul Farley BNSF 509-591-2021.
  • Cook Road, Burlington. USDOT 084775M. Closed Wednesday Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26 to replace track and crossing surface materials. Roadmaster Paul Farley BNSF 509-591-2021.
  • 88th Street NE, Marysville. USDOT 084650M. Closed overnight Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. until Thursday, Oct. 3 at 4 a.m. to replace the crossing surface. Roadmaster Paul Farley BNSF 509-591-2021.
