Tree Top Inc. v. Cascade Natural Gas, Docket UG-210745

On Sept. 24, 2021, Tree Top, Inc., filed with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (Commission) a formal complaint (Complaint) against Cascade Natural Gas Corporation. The Complaint alleges that Cascade imposed an exorbitant overrun entitlement penalty that is not fair, just, or reasonable.

On Nov. 19, 2021, the commission issued a prehearing conference order. Order 01 established a procedural schedule, including the possibility of a second prehearing conference if necessary.

On Feb. 3, 2022, the commission issued Order 02, denying Cascade's motion for summary determination.

On Feb. 22, 2022, the commission issued Order 03. A standard protective order.

On March 8, 2022, the commission issued Order 04, a second prehearing conference order. Order 04 set the procedural schedule, including a virtual evidentiary hearing on June 22, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. Participate online. On June 9, 2022, the commission issued a Notice canceling the evidentiary hearing in response to a request from parties to decide the matter on a paper record.
