BACKGROUND

In February 2025, East Side requested the commission approve new water and irrigation rates that would increase the company’s revenue by around $59,477, or 131.67%. After open meetings on March 27, April 21, and June 26, 2025, the commission postponed the proposed rate changes and set the case for review.

The public comment hearing gives customers a chance to share how the proposed rate increases impacts them and their communities before the commission makes a final decision.
