BACKGROUND
On Dec. 13, 2019, Pacific Power filed revisions to its currently effective Electric Service Tariff. In July, the company, staff, and other parties filed two agreements that together settle all of the issues in the company’s revenue-adjustment request. Under the settlement, a residential electric customer’s bill will decrease about 0.53% in 2021, then remain steady through 2023. An average residential customer using 1,200 kilowatt-hours could see a decrease of $0.55, for a monthly bill of $103.81.

Other issues addressed in the settlement include a reduction of more than $1.4 million to Washington depreciation rates, and a focus on keeping customers connected and expanding existing bill assistance.
