​On September 23, 2013, Waste Control, Inc. (Waste Control) filed with the commission new Tariff No. 15 reflecting a general rate increase that would generate approximately $392,000 (11.4 percent) additional revenue.  Waste Control proposes a general rate increase to recover increased disposal fees, payments to affiliates, employee wages and benefits, fuel, and other general operating expenses.

On November 25, 2013, Waste Control filed revised tariff sheets.  The commission suspended operation of the tariff, allowing rates on a temporary basis, subject to refund on November 27, 2013, by Order 01, entered in this docket.

The commission held a prehearing conference in this matter on January 14, 2014, at UTC headquarters in Olympia, Washington.

On January 16, 2014, the commission entered its Order 03 - Prehearing Conference Order. 

On February 12, 2014, the commission issued anotice revising the procedural schedule.

On March 6, 2014, the commission issued a notice of opportunity to respond to the motion to dismiss.

On March 25, 2014, the commission entered Order 05 - Initial Order Granting Motion to Dismiss and Rejecting Tariff Filing in this docket.
