In July 2017, commission staff conducted a review of Rocket Transportation's compliance with the safety requirements of WAC 480-30-221 and documented five critical violations of those requirements as well as a number of other requirements. The commission intends to cancel Rocket Transportation's certificate as of October 26, 2017, unless the company can come into compliance and provide an adequate safety management plan. On October 18, 2018, the commission issued a notice of intent to cancel certificate and notice of brief adjudicative hearing to be held at 1:30 p.m. on November 20, 2017, in the commission's hearing room, second floor, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Dr. SW, Olympia.
