​The commission received the following five petitions for approval to close highway-rail crossings in the City of Elma and Grays Harbor County:

Docket TR-110157 - Hewitt Road, Grays Harbor County

Docket TR-110159 - N. 2nd Street, City of Elma

Docket TR-110160 - N. 5th Street, City of Elma

Docket TR-110161 - N. 10th Street, City of Elma

Docket TR-110162 - N. 17th Street, Grays Harbor County

The commission consolidated the five petitions and held a prehearing conference on July 18, 2011.

On July 19, 2011, the commission issued Order 02 - Prehearing Conference Order which among other things, set an evidentiary hearing for January 10 and 11, 2012 at UTC headquarters.

On December 2, 2011, Puget Sound Pacific and Railroad filed a motion to withdraw its petitions.

On December 6, 2011, the commission issued Order 03 - Initial Order, which granted a motion to withdraw petitions without prejudice and canceled the hearings scheduled for January 10 and 11, 2012.
