On February 13, 2016, the commission entered an order mitigating penalties assessed against Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) for violations of WAC 480-30-221.

On April 11, 2016, commission staff filed a motion to correct an error in the mitigation order and a motion to schedule a hearing to determine status of suspended penalty.

On April 13, 2016 the commission filed a Notice of Brief Adjudicative Proceeding. This hearing will be held concurrent to the brief adjudicative proceeding in Docket TE-160231 on May 24, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the commission's hearing room, second floor, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.

On June 8, 2016, the commission entered Order 02, which consolidated dockets TE-144101 & TE-160231, as well as imposed and suspended penalties, subject to compliance with the terms of Order 02.

On April 7, 2017, commission staff filed a motion to enforce the suspended penalty. Commission staff alleges that PTI failed to comply with the terms of Order 02, and that therefore the suspended penalty should be imposed. On May 5, 2017, PTI responded to the motion and requested a hearing.

On May 17, 2017, the commission issued a notice setting time for a brief adjudicative proceeding at 1:30 p.m., June 28, 2017, in the commission's hearing room, second floor, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.

On July 14, 2017, the commission entered Order 03, denying staff's motion to enforce penalty. On August 10, 2017, staff submitted a letter and follow-up investigation memo, which supported waiving the suspended portion of the penalty.
