​On November 25, 2015, Pacific Power & Light Company (Pacific Power or Company) filed a general rate case reflecting changes to electric service in the State of Washington. The filing reflects overall revenue requirement increase of $10,000,000 (2.99 percent), it also proposes a two-year rate plan that includes a second-step rate increase. The second-step rate increase would be implemented through a future compliance filing.

The commission held a prehearing conference in this matter on December 22, 2015.

On December 29, 2015, the commission entered Order 03, Prehearing Conference Order and Notice of Hearing, setting the evidentiary hearing in this matter for May 2-3, 2016, at 9:30 a.m., Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington. 

On March 25, 2016 the Commission issued a Notice of Public Comment Hearing for Monday April 25, 2016, at 6 p.m. in the Yakima City Council Chambers, 129 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, Washington. The Commission also held a Public Comment Hearing in this matter on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at 12 p.m. (noon) in the Walla Walla City Council Chambers, 15 N. 3rd Avenue, Walla Walla, Washington.

On May 5, 2016, the Commission issued an Order 09 and Notice of hearing, adding an evidentiary hearing in this matter on June 1, 2016, at 9:30 a.m., in the Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.
