​PacifiCorp d/b/a Pacific Power & Light Company (PacifiCorp) on January 11, 2013, filed with the commission revisions to its currently effective Tariff WN U-75, designed to effect a general rate increase for electric service.  PacifiCorp requests an increase in annual revenues from Washington operations of $42.8 million, resulting in a proposed increase in rates of 14.1 percent.  The commission suspended operation of the tariffs on January 25, 2013, by Order 01 entered in this docket.

The commission held a prehearing conference in this matter on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, and entered its Order 03 - Prehearing Conference Order on February 14, 2013.

Order 03, among other things, adopts a procedural schedule in this matter and scheduled a hearing to begin August 26, 2013.

In addition, the commission issued a notice establishing the time and place for public comment hearings to provide members of the public with an opportunity to present oral comments to the commission.  Two public comment hearings were held, (1) July 15, 2013, in Yakima, Washington, and (2) July 16, 2013, in Walla Walla, Washington.

On December 4, 2013, the commission entered Order 05 - Final Order Rejecting Tariff Sheets; Resolving Contested Issues; Authorizing and Requiring Compliance Filing.
