On April 25, 2013, Puget Sound Energy, Inc. (PSE) filed with the commission revisions to its currently effective
Tariff WN U-60, designated as the Schedule 95 "Power Cost Adjustment Clause." PSE's filing would decrease charges and rates for electric service by approximately $616,833 or 0.03 percent. This power cost only rate case (PCORC) file is authorized by the Settlement Stipulation approved by the commission in Dockets UE-111570 and UG-011571.
The commission suspended operations of the tariffs on May 9, 2013, by
Order 01.
The commission held a
prehearing conference in this matter May 31, 2013. On June 4, 2013, the commission entered a
prehearing conference order that, among other things, adopted a procedural schedule.
On September 16, 2013, PSE, filed a
settlement stipulation.
The commission held a
settlement hearing in this matter on September 26, 2013, at commission headquarters in Olympia, Washington.
On October 23, 2013, the commission entered its final order in this matter. The order approves and adopts the all-party Settlement Stipulation which decreases PSE's revenue requirement by $10,482 million, an average of 0.516 percent, beginning November 1, 2013. To view the entire order, click
