On January 5, 2017, the commission entered Order 01, which instituted a special proceeding, sought to impose penalties and notified Acme Moving Labor of a brief adjudicative proceeding set for January 25, 2017, at 9:00 to classify Acme Moving Labor and decide upon penalties.
On January 24, 2017, the commission received a request for hearing from Acme Moving Labor, which was granted by Order 02. Order 02 advised Acme Moving Labor and commission staff to confer and come to an agreement on a date for hearing.
On January 24, 2017, commission staff filed a letter stating that the parties had been unable to agree upon a hearing date.
On January 25, 2017, the commission entered Order 03, which set the matter for hearing at 9:30 a.m. on March 6, 2017.
On February 28, 2017, the commission issued a notice suspending the procedural schedule and requiring filing of settlement documents or status report by March 14, 2017. The March 6, 2017 hearing was duly cancelled.
On March 22, 2017, the commission issued a notice of a hearing on the settlement proposal. The hearing was held on Monday, April 3, 2017, at 10 a.m., in the commission's hearing room, second floor, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Dr. SW, Olympia, Washington.
On April 10, 2017, the commission entered it's Intitial Order approving the settlement agreement. This order became final on April 30, 2017.
