On December 13, 2014, the commission issued a
complaint against Cascade Ventures United, LLC d/b/a ABC Cleanup Services and ABCHauling.com (Cascade or Company), alleging Cascade is operating for the hauling of solid waste for compensation without a certificate of convenience and necessity issued by the commission under
RCW 81.77.040. Operating for the hauling of solid waste for compensation includes advertising, soliciting, offering, or entering into an agreement to provide that service. A more detailed account can be viewed here in the

A hearing in this matter was originally scheduled for January 9, 2015, at 9:30 a.m.
On December 31 the commission issued a
notice rescheduling the hearing to January 15, 2015, in this matter due to a scheduling conflict.
On January 15, 2015, the commission issued a
notice suspending the procedural schedule. Commission staff notified the commission on January 14, 2015, that the parties had made substantial progress towards resolution of all disputed items, but more time was needed to work out the final details of the settlement. The January 15, 2015, hearing is cancelled and by January 16, 2015, the parties must file either a settlement agreement and supporting documentation or a status report of their negotiations.
