The commission issued a
complaint seeking to impose penalties against Brad Wilson/PartyBus/PartyBusTV (PartyBus). The commission institutes this special proceeding on its own motion to determine whether PartyBus is operating as a charter party or excursion service for transportation of passengers for compensation between points in the state of Washington and on the public highways of the state of Washington without the necessary certificate required for such operations by
RCW 81.70.220.
The commission has information from which it believes and therefore alleges that PartyBus is operating as a charter party or excursion service carrier, transporting passengers for compensation on the public highways of the state of Washington without the necessary certificate required for such operations.
A hearing was scheduled for October 19, 2011, in Room 206, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.
On October 18, 2011, the commission issued a
Notice of Continuance of Hearing, rescheduling the hearing to November 9, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at the commission's headquarters.
On December 2, 2011, the commission issued
Order 02, Initial Order, which approved the settlement agreement, required the respondent to cease and desist operations and imposed penalties in this matter.
