The commission held a prehearing conference on July 2, 2012, on a tariff filed by Betty Lu Miller d/b/a Northwest Water System.  The general rate filing was prompted by an increase in the cost to purchase water from the City of Everett.  Northwest Water System proposes to increase charges and rates for service by approximately $1,736 or 6.4 percent.  The commission, by Order 01, suspended the tariff revision.

During the July 2 prehearing conference, the parties agreed on a procedural schedule which is set forth in Order 02.

On August 7, 2012 Northwest Water System filed a request for leave to withdraw its rate filing.

On August 9, 2012, the commission entered its Order 04, granting the company's request for leave to withdraw tariff filing, dismissing the complaint, and vacating the procedural schedule.
