On March 12, 2013, commission staff (Staff) initiated a compliance investigation into the business practices of Best Moving and Delivery LLC. Staff's investigation was required under the terms of a settlement agreement with the Company in a previous matter. On September 11, 2014, the commission issued a
complaint against Best Moving and Delivery, LLC for violations of commission rules and state laws, as described in the complaint.
The commission held a
prehearing conference in this matter at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, October 7, 2014.
On October 8, 2014, the commission entered
Order 01 - Prehearing Conference Order and Notice of Hearing that set the procedural schedule as well as a hearing in the matter on Wednesday, December 3, 2014.
On December 2, 2014, the commission issued a
notice canceling the hearing scheduled for December 3, 2014.
On December 4, 2014, the commission issued a
notice revising the briefing schedule, and rescheduling the evidentiary hearing in this matter to January 14, 2015. On December 22, 2014, the commission issued another
notice rescheduling the evidentiary hearing for January 22, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
Due to scheduling conflicts the commission issued a
notice on February 6, 2015, revising the briefing schedule and rescheduling the hearing for Monday, March 9, 2015, at 9:30 a.m., in room 206, the commission's hearing room, second floor, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.
