Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission
On December 19, 2016, the commission filed with the Code Reviser a Preproposal Statement of Inquiry (CR-101 & attachment) to consider possible modifications to certain sections in WAC 480-30. On December 21, 2016, the commission issued a Notice, which informed stakeholders of both the opportunity to file written comments on the proposed rulemaking, and the chance to attend a workshop where staff will review and discuss comments with the stakeholders. Stakeholders are invited to comment on a list of specific questions provided in the notice. Comments are due by 5 p.m., January 27, 2017. The workshop was held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017, in Room 206, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.

On March 31, 2017, the commission issued a notice of opportunity to comment and notice of workshop. The commission is requesting comment on the draft rules. A summary of comments from the previous workshop is also available. Comments were due by April 28, 2017, and the workshop will be held at 1 p.m. on May 11, 2017, in Room 206, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.
Also on March 31, 2017, the commission issued a notice of opportunity to respond to the Small Business Economic Impact Statement (SBEIS). Comments were due April 28, 2017.

On June 6, 2017, the commission issued a Notice of opportunity to comment and adoption hearing, along with the SBEIS, Comment Summary Matrix, Draft Rules, and CR-102. The CR-102 and SBEIS were filed with the Code Reviser on June 2, and will be published in the Washington State Reigster on June 21, 2017. Comments on the proposed rules are due Wednesday, July 5, 2017. The adoption hearing will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017, in the commission's hearing room, Richard Hemstad Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.
