On June 19, 2020, Cascade Natural Gas Corporation (Cascade or Company) filed with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (Commission) revisions to its currently effective Tariff WN U-3. The Commission suspended the tariffs and issued a notice of virtual prehearing conference to be held Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 1 p.m.

On July 13, 2020, the commission entered Order 03, a Prehearing Conference Order, which, established the procedural schedule including an evidentiary hearing for 9 a.m., February 24, 2021. Due to uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the commission will determine if the hearing will be conducted in person at a later date. On January 20, 2021, the commission issued a notice determining that the evidentiary hearing scheduled for February 24, 2021 will be held virtually. On May 25, 2021, Cascade Natural Gas filed a Petition for Reconsideration of Order 05.

On June 10, 2021, the commission issued a notice specifying that it will issue a decision on the petition by June 25, 2021.
