How to Request Public Records

The UTC is committed to responding to public records requests in a timely manner.

How to Find Documents

Electronic versions of many of our records are available in the Online Records Center, but if you are unable to find the document you want, or need copies, please submit a public records request. 

See the Public Access to Information and Records rule, WAC 480-04, for additional information.

How to request Public Records:

  • Request for Public Records web form;
  • Mail the UTC, PO Box 47250, Olympia, WA 98504-7250;
  • Visit us in-person at 1300 S. Evergreen Park Dr. SW, Olympia, WA 98504-7250;
  • Fax us at 360-586-1150; or
  • Call the Records Center at 360-664-1234

Please provide the following:

  • Your contact information, including: name, phone number, address, and e-mail address;
  • A detailed description of the requested records; and
  • Docket number, if known

Copying fees may be charged based on the size and nature of the request.
