On September 16, 2011, Puget Sound Energy, Inc. (PSE) filed with the Commission a 
Petition for a Declaratory Order approving PSE's proposed reclassification of its 55 kV-115 kV facilities as transmission facilities and for an Accounting Order authorizing the Company to apply such reclassification of transmission from distribution facilities in PSE's accounts and reports to the Commission.
Pursuant toRCW 34.05.240 and WAC 480-07-930, the Commission gives notice of PSE's Petition to all persons required by law and such other persons as deemed appropriate. The Commission also by this notice invites interested persons to submit a statement of fact and law on the issues raised by the Petition.
By Notice issued September 23, 2011, interested persons who desire to be heard in this docket must present a statement of fact and law on the issues raised in the Petition, including the applicability of Washington Statutes and Commission rules to those issues, no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2011.
On October 7, 2011, the Commission issued a Notice of Prehearing Conference scheduled for October 17, 2011, at 1:30 p.m.
On December 14, 2011, the Commission issued Order 01 - Declaratory Order in this matter.
